Chocolate Almond Biscotti

100g blanched whole almonds, toasted and chopped coarsely
135g sugar
2 large eggs
1t vanilla essence
225g self-raising flour
110g chocolate (tulip brand), chopped in 1/2 inch (can use chocolate chips)
